We are marshaling a movement to build the future of New York.
New York has long been a beacon of progress and a place of wonder for people across America and around the world.
From the city’s history as the nation’s first capital to the state serving as a launchpad for major ideas and leaders, New York has shifted and shaped policy for much of the country. As a global center for finance, media, technology, culture, and diplomacy, New York has fueled economic growth and innovation for centuries.
Yet, the city and state are struggling, suffering from a lack of bold leadership and vision. The cost of living has gone up while the quality of life has gone down. From housing to healthcare, education to economic opportunity, New Yorkers are not seeing results despite committing significant resources. These failures have led to a lack of trust in institutions, rising inequality, political polarization, and deep divisions that threaten our social fabric and risk our capacity to foster the kind of centrist, cross-sector collaboration needed to advance bold solutions with speed and scale. We can do better.
We know what we need to build the future we want. We are marshaling a movement to advance that agenda into action.
We need cross-sector collaboration and leadership. We need to cut overbearing regulations and increase forward-thinking investment. And we need an ecosystem that prioritizes proactive policies over reactive responses.
The Future Forum is delivering this change, cultivating community, creating content, and catalyzing capital to champion innovative initiatives and investments vital to the growth and prosperity of New York and beyond. Through these endeavors, we prepare the next generation of leaders with the knowledge and networks needed to shape a more secure and sustainable future.
